About Us

Needs of the Nations is an organisation which aims to redistribute excess food from Restaurants,Hostels,Hotels, events to those who are hungry.

Hunger and Waste food shouldn't be at same place, it's our responsibility to take care , as our part of the duty we started this 'Needs of the Nations' to vanish those disparities We are in contact with hotels, restaurants and catering contractors so that whenever there is an Excess Food they easily inform us , information is sent via call or by website and then plan the transportation as according to the then day conditions We have similar contacts with orphanages and needy shelters or homes for which we provide this Excess Food before it losses it hygiene nature , we hardly store food unless it's something like fruit or vegetable. In this way we serve to them We need all of you to register in our website and increase our contact's both in areas of Excess Food and in areas that include Hunger, so that we strive hard to elimanate them along with our team of volunteers

Needs of the Nations is an NGO that works with the support of donars and volunteers, volunteers are our strength and I wish many of you who is reading this is willing to be a volunteer and serve the needs of the country Today, many people are very health conscious and prefer to eat right and light. However, the tradition of serving up rich feasts and endless buffets at weddings is still going strong. After all, people do judge a wedding by its food, amongst other criterion.

So what does one do with the excess food?

Throwing away food is a waste of resources on many fronts, and it is more sustainable and humane to explore other alternatives. Today, reputed organizations are channeling excess wedding food to those in need by collaborating with caterers
